From Local and Less Accessible to the Cloud with ByondFiles
The team consists of calculators, draftsmen, project leaders, and assemblers. Since early 2024, ByondFiles has been implemented.
Previously at Habemo, all documents were stored on a local server. Today, all project-specific photos, emails, documents, drawings, and renders are stored in ByondFiles, making everything easily accessible to the Habemo team from anywhere.
Starting with ByondFiles, Quick and Easy
We spoke to Timoty Oben, the Director, who prepared the transition at Habemo. We asked how the startup process went. "Actually, it went very smoothly. The concept of ByondFiles was presented and explained during a couple of short team sessions. Together with ByondFiles, we reviewed a questionnaire which quickly clarified how everything would be set up. We established standard dossier templates for our project files and precisely configured access rights for each folder (ensuring every employee has access to what they need for their role).
Internally, we provided a very short training to familiarize everyone with the operation of the system. "ByondFiles is extremely intuitive, so everyone found their way immediately." The only thing left to do was to choose a start date. On that start date, everything was switched over, and we were all underway.
Habemo and ByondFiles
ByondFiles now supports the entire document flow at Habemo. From the creation of a dossier by the calculators to its addition by salespeople, project leaders, and implementers, everything remains centrally and uniformly structured.
Our employees are enthusiastic about the system's simplicity and speed. The team includes 22 office employees, 22 workers, and 60 subcontractors. The next agenda items are integrating ByondFiles’ workflow and task management, and linking it with Buildsoftware (ERP).
