ByondFiles is a document management system that ensures document management is not only more organized but also always accessible to employees—from their smartphone, tablet, or desktop. Meanwhile, both small and large companies are successfully using our management system!
We are currently looking for a medior Full Stack Java Developer to further develop our brand-new SaaS product.
Your Profile
For the position of medior Full Stack Java Developer, we expect you to have Java as a second language, combined with knowledge of HTML/CSS and JQuery/JavaScript. We work in a MacOS/Linux/Unix environment, and you should be familiar with Spring, Hibernate, Elastic Search, and Groovy or have a strong interest in growing your expertise in these areas. Our technology touchpoints include ElasticSearch, Microsoft (Azure, 365, Graph API, Sharepoint, WOPI), Google (Google Cloud Platform), Docker, Kubernetes, Redis, Document converters, Websockets, and Webdav.
You are someone who quickly picks up new things and has a strong interest in learning more. You are also an initiator with a real hands-on mentality. You work problem-solving and analytically, and you enjoy delivering high-quality and sustainable solutions.
- Diploma in Bachelor of Applied Informatics or equivalent
- At least 3 years of relevant experience
- No secrets for you with JAVA, HTML/CSS, and JQuery/JavaScript
- Familiarity with Spring, Hibernate, Elastic Search, and Groovy, or interest in becoming an expert in these areas
- Good understanding of responsive web design principles / Twitter Bootstrap / VUE.js
- Basic knowledge of relational databases (SQL)
- Interest in open-source systems such as Ubuntu Linux, Apache, Tomcat, Postgres is a plus
- Initiative-taker with a hands-on mentality
- Team player
- Language skills: fluent in Dutch and very good command of English. Other languages are an asset.
